Launched a new nickel-based superalloy, MT-IN939

Inconel 939 (IN939) is a nickel-based superalloy primarily composed of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and aluminum. The material exhibits an excellent balance of high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, fatigue performance, creep strength, and hot and cold workability. It is ideally suited for manufacturing components for gas turbine engines operating in high-temperature environments above 850℃ and is widely used in aerospace, energy, and chemical industries.

First, accelerate the adjustment of industrial structure; In future development, the gear mold industry should prioritize strategic adjustments to its product structure, enabling faster growth of high-end molds with complex structures and high precision. Simultaneously, the mold industry must closely follow market demand. Without product demand and updates, there will be no technological progress in the mold industry, nor will there be improvements in the scale and grade of mold products. The level of mold technology largely determines the quality, efficiency, and development capability of new products.

Second, accelerate the implementation of industry standards; Currently, there are no national or readily available industry standards for the processing of gear molds, especially in the field of plastic gear molds. Technical standards are relatively open, but product standards are difficult to implement. Multiple aspects must be considered, such as experimental standards, accuracy standards, and testing device standards for gear molds.

Third, strengthen inter-industry cooperation; The development of modern industry is a collaborative endeavor, equally crucial for the gear mold industry. This cooperation involves direct industry research collaboration, such as several universities researching gear molds, combining the strengths of the gear industry and university research institutions for integrated research and cooperation on process equipment, plastic internal deformation laws, and other aspects.

Meanwhile, from an industry-wide perspective, the gear mold sector is currently underdeveloped and largely unorganized. The establishment of relevant professional associations aims to address this, focusing on exploring and solving problems in the production of small module gears, thereby promoting the development of the domestic precision gear mold industry.
